Our History
Penn Manufacturing, Inc. was founded in 1999 in Saxonburg, PA,
by John Townsend and an investor partner.
The company’s early focus was on pressure vessels, and it has held ASME code certification ever since. In 2007, operations relocated to a larger facility in Hyde Park, PA, expanding into heat exchangers and additional fabrication services. In 2017, the original investor retired, and John Townsend became President and Owner of Penn Mfg, Inc. Under his leadership, the company has since expanded its fabrication operations and client machining services.
Our primary shift runs 6 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday, with hours extended as needed to meet client orders and deadlines.
